Have you been in a yoga class and felt uncomfortable with the eastern traditions 
commonly used with the original physical poses?  Or maybe you shy away from yoga because of things you've heard?  We've felt that uneasiness.  It doesn't have to be that way.  The fact is yoga pre-dates Hinduism, which is commonly associated with the creation of yoga.  Yoga is a methodology, not a theology.  Body and Soul Fitness was born out of a desire to embrace the health benefits of yoga and to glorify God. No karma. No namaste.  No om.  No chanting. Yoga, pure and simple, as given by God to heal, relax and restore our body's systems.

At Body and Soul Fitness we feel extremely grateful for the blessing of good health and mobility. There are 100 million people in the world that are not so fortunate, who are spending their lives on the ground or being carried by others.  There is an incredible organization that provides the gift of a free wheelchair to these individuals in developing countries for just over $70 a wheelchair.  We are proud to support Free Wheelchair Mission with a portion of our profits on a monthly basis.
